SOTB news

We are very pleased to present our brand new EP Through recorded at Resident Studios in London over summer to winter 2013.

Through is a five track selection true to the Something On The Border live show experience. First comes Meola, a mid-tempo tune with a nice solid groove broken only by the hypnotically catchy guitar stabs and riffs. Then follows Coffee House Insomnia with its rhythmical verses, melodic choruses, serenading bass solo and a lively guitar versus bass acapella dialogue. The EP takes a breather with Girl's Left, a ballad with a beautiful slide guitar solo lamenting lost love. The penultimate song, El Padrone named after Pablo Escobar, steps the tempo up again. The EP ends with Nasty Daddy named after its writer and leader of the band Kev. It is a cheerful happy song just like the man himself!
